Summary

The Empire stands triumphant.

For twenty years the Dread Empress has ruled over the lands that were once the Kingdom of Callow, but behind the scenes of this dawning golden age threats to the crown are rising. The nobles of the Wasteland, denied the power they crave, weave their plots behind pleasant smiles. In the north the Forever King eyes the ever-expanding borders of the Empire and ponders war. The greatest danger lies to the west, where the First Prince of Procer has finally claimed her throne: her people sundered, she wonders if a crusade might not be the way to secure her reign. Yet none of this matters, for in the heart of the conquered lands the most dangerous man alive sat across an orphan girl and offered her a knife.

Her name is Catherine Foundling, and she has a plan.

---------------

A Practical Guide to Evil is a fantasy series about a young girl named Catherine Foundling making her way through the world – though, in a departure from the norm, not on the side of the heroes. Is there such a thing as doing bad things for good reasons, or is she just rationalizing her desire for control? Good and Evil are tricky concepts, and the more power you get the blurrier the lines between them become.

This is a full book and not a webnovel. It is not an easy read but that makes it even better if you pull through. The politics, war, intrigue, worldbuilding are just amazing. Likeable MC and hardly plot armoured, no overpowered MC steamrolling through enemies. Love the Story

In my quest to read only one chap a day, And till now I've been successful and Holy sh*t it's good. It's getting hard, controlling myself in not reading more is getting hard. The way I know tomorrow night I've got something good waiting for me to read is something satisfying as well.

Just a reminder if you want to read this. This novel is a book, not a web novel. Basically, the quality is insane not like any web novels. It also involves a lot of planning so expect a lot of inner monologues. A confusing power system that requires a lot of thinking to understand. Characters that are terrifying and loveable at the same time. And lastly, the MC is a girl who is definitely one of the best anti-hero characters I know. If you are just like me, who is tired of reading web novels, this is for you. I hope you like it just like I do. PS Im at book 4 now and it slaps so hard, and Im hooked literally.

Because it isn't a japanese or translated novel period, and most definitely targeted towards a specific demographic - it's like Lord of the Rings, a classic fantasy which everyone can read.
