Dark Magus Returns

For me this is one of the most entertaining novel after RI and lotm, it is a really well created open world novel with really alot of good characters in it , some mysteries here and there . . etc. surprisingly this is the only novel where i really dont have any problems with female characters around MC " for me this was really unexpected ", yeah there is some minor force or rather plot conviniences that follows but still alot better than what people are saying.

It has been awhile since i read something worthy on this site, This was really entertaining even though there is some forced or rather convenience plots.

if kind of feel like the chapters are very short. . or maybe because I'm really into novel. . I don't know but I really like this one. . . especially the sister of their MC. . . or maybe somehow I feel like she had some kind of connection of the MC's wife. . . I don't know but I really didn't know more about this character. . . please I'll take more chapter

I'm currently chapter 272 . I really like this novel good story and all But just one F****ing problem and that's the relationships, it just get on my nerves I hate it . Ofcourse that's just my opinion but yeah Hope you guys enjoy it

Bro this novel is supposed to be on the level of shadow slave according to webnovel, like there are so many gifts, blah blah blah it's recieving but the actual truth? Dawgshit. Don't get me wrong, if you are a newbie and this is your first novel, you may find it somewhat intresting but if you have read first class novel then this is dawgshit :]

I don't understand how this has bad reviews. I've stuck to the story like glue and I've loved it so far. The story is entrancing, the characters are relatable and the magic and power systems are interesting. And there is even character development. I don't know what you guys normally read, but this novel is A+ tier.

It's pretty good. . . just that his dialogs are. . . out of my range some times. I am now on chapter 209 and till now its going smooth. . . I was sho. . . shocked that this novel still is sticking with me as I am person who only read some chapters in the beginning and los3 interest there after if it's not up to my tastes. Mc is kind of a hot headed youth some times but a tsundare or cold another time. . . till now I can't find any romance but I don't know what he mean when he said that he is having a reaction from his body's sisters touch. . . I think the reaction was like a sense of responsibility. . of protecting his sister. . . the body is getting influence By the previous body owner's feelings and so on. Mostly I gave this novel a 4 star as it was entertaining atleast. . . I read this one till about 2 or 3 am and I am still continuing. Some times I feel as if the mc is kind of foolish but I don't know why. Anyway it's not as bad as it's ratting from my opinion but if u think it's not good then that's ur opinion as every one is not build the same. Read it if you wanna know it's good or not as you have ro test it your self if it's up to ur taste. Farewell

To be honest, it's a work with great potential and all of it was spent on chapter 1, because from that point on it's all downhill. The story should have revenge as its main plot, but in the grand scheme of things, it is nothing more than something full of many clichés, poorly developed characters, poorly constructed bonds that do not convey credibility and a universe that even has good potential, but the author clearly didn't know how to develop it, a shame. I could go on longer in this review, but my rating is 4/10. I don't even recommend it as a pastime for those who aren't reading anything, this one is only for those who like these shallow stories and lots of clichés, but taste is taste, without judgement.

Dawg, ever heard of a masterpiece? This is not. Mc have a cheat power up that carries him after he was born in the world, the iq reducing aura. Despite being “old” he acts like a f&#$ng teenager with impulsive tendency, he acts like a f*cking child. “The world is my enemy for the sake of it” Raze Cromwell is an edgy, sociopath, and unhinged person that is not done well. Review at 167 Someone said the author basically wrote this for the f*ck of it and I agree, I mean the author just took a somewhat random character out of MVS and decided to give him a spinoff. The MC is a SEVERE edgelord, the book suffers from the same tropes that the author likes to rinse and repeat I) Wears a mask II) fights with fists III) Has minions that they expose to a new power II) MC dabbles in two different power systems that have a convenient synergy no one has achieved prior to him and I'm pretty sure it was called Qi just like in MVS [I guess it was mentioned they are set in the same verse] III) A weakling around the MC suffers from a mistake of theirs and gets a powerup. . . They also swear eternal fealty to the MC, just like in ZLU and MVS, not sure if it applies to MWS IV) Said weakling gets bullied by the people who the MC offended by being strong. They press the weakling into betraying the MC and weakling has a moral dilemma over it I could expand on these or even point out more but I have spoiled enough That aside why call it the "Dark Magus" and then give him an affinity for multiple elements. Some may beg to differ but this is kinda stupid to me. . . I also have a dislike for multiple elements, especially when the MC is the only one who has them (does not apply here I guess but I'm just rambling)
