The first book of this novel is amazing! Weird it is so unknown, later the storyline becomes trash imo, once again romance kills the novel. .

This novel, touted as the most captivating one ever, revolves around the themes of assassination and revenge within the murky intersection of Jianghu, the world of killers, and the world of thieves. The characters in this narrative lead lives fraught with constant desperation, shifting from one dire situation to another. Vengeance takes various forms, ranging from brutal open killings and duels to cunning manipulations and financial dealings, leaving the targets to face their fate in their final moments. One could argue that the author excels at depicting this world of desperation and contradiction, but there are certain aspects that warrant criticism. The story delves into a realm where everyone is tainted by darkness, lacking any true virtue or goodness. Trust is a fleeting concept in this twisted universe, as even those who seem to place faith in others are destined to meet their end at the hands of those they trust, regardless of the heaviness of guilt and hatred in their hearts. The relentless focus on an amoral and grim environment may appeal to some readers seeking darker themes, but it could be criticized for being overly pessimistic and lacking moral depth. The characters' constant engagement in destructive and deceitful actions may make it difficult for readers to connect with or empathize with them, ultimately leaving little room for growth or redemption. While the novel may successfully bring to life a world teeming with desperation and treachery, it seems to prioritize shock value and relentless darkness over a more nuanced exploration of character development and moral complexity. This one-sided approach might limit its appeal to a broader audience and leave readers craving a more balanced and thought-provoking narrative.
