Honestly this is a story of a classic Chinese imperial harem romance, with all the conspiracies, poisons, betrayals and forced marriages that go with it, with a touch of martial arts (although it loses importance in the second half of the story). What I would like to comment is that sometimes it is a bit descriptive in terms of +18 themes including some +18 violent scenes (R@p€) even if they are very few scenes. Another thing I would like to comment on is that although I liked the story a lot, the ending felt a bit rushed and some of the revenge on certain antagonists... felt a bit unsatisfying. For me I feel that this story should have a few more chapters. Last but not least, the chapters are quite long (double or triple the length of other stories) and the translator has put some spoliers in the translator's notes (a big salute to that man!), Be warned!

This is a spoiler can be considered a big one so read on your own accord in the story when feng cang marry's QiQi they find out she is the daughter of Feng Xie and Meng Yue. But it turns out Feng Cang is adopted so there are not blood related, beside that The emperor wanted a relation with his biological sister Meng Yue its all kinda a mess
Instead of putting the word translation or meaning at the end of chapter, they should just translate it It's so confusing and annoying.

I could not pass the first chapters, it was really hard to understand most of the words, since there is alot of historical chinese vocabulary. It's sad because the story and the plot looks really cool but I don't have the time to learn a new language...

very confusing. started off like in the middle? no context. no intro to characters. also kinda confusing to read. idk if that's a translator thing or it's the novel. i liked the concept & plot so i kept going but i couldn't get past the first couple of chapters.
