Poison Spirit, Di Ling’er, and Yi Chan all exclaimed silently at the same time. Poison Spirit had forgotten something: a King-Ranked guardian was just in the vicinity.

Logically, based on Poison Spirit’s identity and status, breaking a small rule should not bring about too severe a consequence.

Ren Tianfan snorted and said, “Little Eagle King, as a commander, you are too complacent. So many people had infiltrated your troop, and you actually didn’t know? If they were assassins, we would all be dead. Someone, come! Take these people down!”

Someone had devised a plot. The target was Poison Spirit, Yi Chan, and company. The mastermind was probably Bai Ditian, Qiu Ren, You Tianni, or even Heavenly King You.

Furthermore, this set-up had been very meticulously laid out; Poison Spirit and company had willingly jumped into it.

Even if someone guessed that this was a set-up later on, no one would be able to do anything to the mastermind. Poison Spirit and the others had, in fact, broken the Demon-Buster Army military laws; Ren Tianfan had the right to arrest them. If Poison Spirit resisted, Ren Tianfan would also have the authority to kill him on the spot.
