Gate of Revelation

Novel was pretty decent until around chapter 500. The arc that popped up there I felt logic exited stage left along with physics. I feel like the author kinda lost focus and brought in: Sacred objects Time travel Time skip+memory wipe Power scaling changes It really just threw everything off. Rules about certain things changed, things like strength and size of guilds and people powers changed randomly, some terms changed from being a group of people to being a singular entity type stuff. Overall the changes didn't sit well. I'd say it's still decent enough for a light read and if you don't mind turning your brain off you could get further than I did.

For the first time when I started reading this novel, it seemed to me that it was predictable. The characters seemed formulaic, as did the plot. But in fact, everything turned out not quite as I expected. The novell intrigued by the non-linear plot and interesting event concept that can keep your focus on the story. A good novel for those who are already tired of the usual novels in the genre of xiaxia and science fiction
