I quickly realized as I walked outside the house how the neighborhood was different from yesterday. I went to the mart around this time yesterday, so only 24 hours had passed.
It was completely changed in only 24 hours.
There were no civilians on the street! I ran across a few cars, but I could hardly find anyone walking around. The only people I saw were soldiers wearing motley green combat uniforms. Looking at the military uniform, I suddenly recalled the unpleasant MMA text that I received yesterday. I completely forgot to find out about KNOU because it was so hectic. I walked for a few minutes and arrived at the large mart in the complex residential basement. There were no people on the roadside because all the people in this neighborhood were gathered here.
“Dear customers! Ramen is limited to only one box per customer!”
“Ma’am! Ahhhh! Please don’t push, Sir!”
The mart’s employees desperately tried to control the customers, but there was no use when they pushed each other. I guessed she was about six years old. A girl was grabbing and pulling a woman’s hem that appeared to be her mother.
“Mom! Ice cream! Ice Cream!”
“Choi Soo-jin! Really, stop pulling my clothes! Why did you follow me all the way here when I told you to stay home!”
“I can’t even go to kindergarten today! I’m bored at home!”

He looked like a junior high school student, or he was probably a prematurely developed elementary school student.
