HP: The Arcane Thief

Read this a while ago on a different site, but I stopped. This is somewhat fuzzy, but I remembered getting very p*ss*d off due to this… Honestly, this is good, but kinda basic… At some point it becomes a generic face slapping. He does sports and accomplishes feats described as humanly impossible and dangerous to all parties, somehow everything works out? The author made a cringe worthy attempt to make the mc look cool when he threw a fit during the games, ruining it for all parties and the large crowd. There is very little fighting, and much more of the focus is on the mc and his relationship with female characters, which includes gender swapped Harry. But, it is not a harem, so mostly pointless(why gender-swap in the first place)… Later there is the, “he was actually the children of important characters” tope and launches into a new story(basically nothing having been done with the main story of Harry Potter at this point, at all). They have an exchange with a Japanese school, and they use hand sign magic, cause of course. Turns out he is a prodigy in that too. Finally, the author does not focus on anything about the books or movies, that includes characters. The author additionally has everything important be happening in places he added, it is a heavy AU. It is basically a wish fulfillment, loosely based on Harry Potter… but still decent, even if a let down.

I still don't understand why this is so low in the ranking, usly, it's stupid, but hey, let's start. It is a fanfiction book about the world of Harry Potter with a part of isekai and system. Although the isekai is not on the part of the protagonist, the protagonist is originally from the world of Harry Potter, it has a solid story, what I like most is the character development, it is wonderful, you really feel the character of the main characters grow. The world development is good as it is the world of harry potter, but the author takes clever routes and only uses the world of harry potter as a help, that is, he does not use the arcs of the original book, he creates his own arcs, which It is very detailed and fresh. So don't expect to see the world of Harry Potter like in the original books or movies, even the characters in the saga are not the same, they are a kind of different version, Harry Potter Potter is a woman for example. I simply recommend reading the book, it is not boring and its fights and occasions outside of them are entertaining and you will never get bored. Story 3. 8/5, characters 5/5, world 4/5, and writing 4/5. Recommended

My second favorite novel on this site. Has a system element and is a perfect fan fiction of Harry Potter. The author implements their own MC and creates a rather unique twist to the wizarding world. The author implements other magic communities outside such as Atlantis and Ninjitsu. A good book that is not updated as much as it should.

Haven't read many HP fanfics, but this is definitely the best, the concept of the world is different from the original and makes it much more interesting, there's also a presence of ninjutsu which is pretty nice. The only problem with this novel is that the mc is too young to have experienced so many violent and traumatizing things, it would have been better for the mc to be older to make it more believable, but I see how it can be hard to implement because you go Hogwarts at 11

This is definitely by far the best Harry Potter fanfic I've read. The mc is written well and is a good character. There is loads of funny and great scenes that make the novel great. There a few problems though, the first being the chapter length is terribly short, there are a few cringe moments(especially when they start calling axel savage) and in my opinion axel gets insanely strong way too quick other than that the novel is great and deserves a read.

Honestly think this should be ranked higher. Really good novel and I love the MC as a character. Only "downsides" I can think of is they're so little chapters and the release rate kinda sucks especially after the hiatus.

Happy Potter and a system novel. . . such a great mix. He also isn't to over powered initially and has to work for his power. Also love how it gets into to dark parts of the magical world of Harry Potter.

One of the best fan ficts iv read in a while great world building alot of diffrent cultures put into an already existing universe the mc isn't a typical beta male he's pretty strong but not too op some edgy moments but not too bad it's overall a good read

There are a lot of changes(good) to make the world more understandable and i really like them the world doesn't revolve around only Hogwarts but other communities are also shown like Japanese magic and we might see more the mc is edgy but he is getting his character development.

A GREAT fan-fic . If you're looking for something interesting and you want a new plot , then I strongly suggest that you read this novel . The stuff from the HP universe is incorporated nicely although author has made some changes . Nice world building and a clear romance rotated plot ( I think there's a romance rotated plot due to how mc behaves ) I like the fmcs and how the system works . The system doesn't act like plot-armor and I assure you that there isn't that much usage of plot-armor . Overall , you should definitely try this out . 5/5 in nearly all aspects .
