    I hear a few people complaining about Gu Changge villainous deeds and that he's just a transmigrator but he actually died and went to another world. Lived a normal life reading novels. And was born again as Gu chang. So it might look transmigration at first but it's actually reincarnation 👀👀

      So.. I read the mtl (I half understood half not) till CHP 800-900 if I remember correctly so here's the thing, gu changge is one of the 3 top great ancestors of the whole world I mean the( TOP ). He wants to be the sole top and the 3 ancestors keep each other on check so he puts his ancestor body on auto play and reincarnated as gu chang GE to be powerful enough so as to supress the other two ancestors. After that I don't know coz I stopped reading and lost the ability to read mtl (Warning: don't read mtl if u can't finish the novel by reading consecutive days, if u take gap in middle of a week or so u wld forget who was who)

        i don't think so but if there is any out of character moments for the two that might be the reason and there is another this kind of chapter like 215.5 or something i guess these episodes have .5 at them

    If you want the information on why the system is not important in anyway further down because your are not past or at the Red robed disciple arc, or you just wanna know in general who he really is and don’t wanna read to it because you feel like its a waste of time.       I was at the part where he plans to sacrifice entire world so he can devour its origin. I've stopped reading then since I didn't like the sense of escalation in his actions. Does it escalate even further?

        Yes unbelievably. Honestly I’m reading for the end result. Turns out mans plans to unify the entire Great Expanse. I won’t say what’s after that since it might be good to be surprised while reading when you find out. Just know when he reaches the immortal realm everything picks up very quickly. If you don’t know what the Great expanse is you’ll find out when he is in the immortal realm. I’m trying not to tell to many spoilers in case; I say to much of what you wanted to find out yourself since you didn’t give me a limit. So in conclusion it escalates so much to the point that you learn why everything happened the way it did starting from chapter 1. This man has one of the biggest plans I ever read in a novel.

    why he is a villain? because the plot says it is so... anyway even after 300 chapters he didn't give another reason... so it's just mehh he took the body of another person but he acts like the old one... except for the fact that he has an additional harem, I still find it strange I hate the way he acts around those girls... there are zero challenges. all these enemies are more than stupid, same for the mc... it's just that the author says his function then his function x) I don't understand the strength of mc at all, the author says that MC is strong, but that's all... the system is forgotten, he just uses it to bring his cultivation to the surface to hide his true culture with his evil art, I don't understand why he doesn't use it for others and prefers to kill people and "eat" them there is never a real fight, everything ends in 2/3 attack too repetitive, too many unnecessary paragraphs in each chapter in short, at most 2.5/5

      I've already dropped the book, so don't think I'm writing solely because I'm a fan, but I want to be fair. His villainous personality is explained pretty early, though I don't have a specific chapter nr. It's a reincarnation, not an insert into an existing character. The book starts when the system awakens and suppresses his "demon heart", simultaneously unlocking the memories of his previous life. He acts like his "previous" self, because it was him from the start - just less controlled, since without system his actions were dominated by "demon heart". As for the system, it loses significance fairly quickly but it retains supplementary role throughout the story.

        I think you misread, it's a transmigration and not a reincarnation, and besides he met another transmigrator. so no there is no explanation other than the fact that he is the so-called bad guy who would be killed by the protagonist... and besides there is the "Transmigration" tag if you look closely.

        No I have not. Not only in his talks with the system did he state that he is a reincarnation; but later on he keeps meeting people related to his even earlier life.

        His first impression was that he transmigrated, since his first experience was similar, but he later started having suspicions about his situation so he asked system: "how long was it since I crossed over", and the answer was: "21 years" (or 23 i can't remember). This is I think first such overt statement. As for why he knows the tropes; it is because in his previous life he lived in the modern world. In his even earlier reincarnation he was the strongest expert in the world known as the "demon master".

        no, 1 I think you haven't read much, 2 I think you haven't really understood... well. yes the original owner of mc's corp is a reincarnation but not really, he just remembers his past life, and besides he's not the only one. but our MC is a pure transmigrator

        1. I've read up to chapter 700 before dropping. (I was reading further on another site) 2. In chapter 78 there is the conversation that I've spoke of earlier. It outright states that he was in this world since the birth, just that before system awakened he had no memory and reasoning. I'd copy that here but I can't copy things from the novel. Just search for the sentence : "He couldn't help but wonder if he had crossed over to this world long ago, but his mind had been dominated by his demonic nature right from the moment of his birth?" Few next paragraphs system explains his situation. If that doesn't convince you then I'm out.
