I Hate Systems
Chapter 1103.2: Representation War (Part 2)

The moment Ahjar caused Slayer to retract all the Representative System fragments to himself, he exited Slayer's body and nodded at Compass Carburettor, "Our cooperation ends here."

"We'll meet once we achieve our objectives."

"Alright, I'll be anticipating your success." Compass Carburettor nodded as he watched Ahjar leave with Hazen.

Before he left, Hazen snapped his finger, causing the fog within Slayer's mind to begin dissolving. Of course, it would fully dissolve only a moment after Slayer regained all the Representative System fragments and became one with them.

Central Plains!

Ahjar arrived there alongside Hazen, carrying a small sphere in his hands. He handed the sphere over to Hazen and dropped him at one corner of Central Plains, "Continue training here after restricting your strength."

"We'll be facing Zaira directly after this."

"Alright," Hazen nodded as he was dropped off.

Immediately after that, Ahjar focused as he stressed his Concept of Space to the limit and unleashed his ultimate ability, expending most of his energy reserves.

Secondary Factor—Restriction Order!

The Central Plains was currently the largest world in the multiverse. It was similar in nature to the System World in that it was both a world and a universe. It was just that massive, impossible to scale for a mortal in their entire lifetime.

It was here that the Grade 2 Systems had descended fully in order to fight the Hunter System and allow the latter to farm System Elixir. They believed that at the end of this, the Hunter System would be able to become either the Main Character System or at least a System part of the Protagonist Genre.

It was an ambitious project. And the chances of success existed. After all, even if the Hunter System were to fail, some other Grade 2 System would be able to take the accumulation and succeed.

But of course, that was in an ideal case. In reality, Ahjar intended to steal their accumulations. It was why they influenced the Hunter System in the first place.

Focusing on all his strength, Ahjar activated his power.

Tertiary Factor—Restriction Order!

"Eh…?" A monster that was about to devour an Elf stared in shock, observing its power had vanished. It looked in confusion, noticing that the Elf too was the same.

The System fragment in its body had been wholly suppressed. And now, its presence couldn't even be felt by the monster.

"What is happening?"

"My power…my power! My power is gone!"

Panic set in the people that became powerless instantly. But, it wasn't as if they were completely powerless. All they lost was power obtained from the System fragments in them.

Of course, for the Hunters, that meant the entirety of their strength. But it wasn't a hopeless situation, for Central Plains was a formidable world created by the Genre Representations of six Genre Representatives.

It was created with the capability to house any power system. This was why, for beings possessing powers from their native worlds that were separate from the System fragments in them, it wasn't a lost cause.

Roar!

A bear leaped forth as a magic circle formed in its mouth, spewing forth a sea of flames that burned the bodies of countless Hunters crisp. It then gorged on their helpless corpses. Those that became powerless were the first victims.

But if it was just this, all it would result in was just a power struggle. The goal of Central Plains was to farm System Elixir. Therefore, the situation should conform to that once again.

Ahjar calmly took out a sphere, sighing as he stared at the torrent of power contained within it. This was given to him by Compass Carburettor, condensed using Lore.

Ahjar stared at it, feeling difficulty in controlling his greed. After all, if he absorbed this power, he would be able to derive at least one more Factor of his Concept of Space. "Man, this is a tough decision."

But thinking of what he wished to see first, he controlled himself, "I'm still overpowered. My personal satisfaction takes higher priority. Having suffered for all my life, I need to enjoy at least a little."

Once he firmed his mind, he infused the energy from his Concept of Space into the Lore Sphere without hesitation. Following that, he crushed it and infused it into Central Plains, muttering with a grin, "Genre Representation…"

His Concept of Space whirred into life and fused into the Lore Sphere, empowered it, and expanded its causality to an extent it could affect Central Plains.

Genre Representation—Journey of a Hero!

Since inception, it was the power of space that allowed a hero to adventure through their vast world and gain new experiences. It was thanks to this that they could adventure and experience things good, bad, and ugly.

Since the foundation of Central Plains was created through the combined Genre Representations of six Genre Representatives, the only way to affect it was through a power on par with them, which was none other than the Concept of Space.

Here, even Compass Carburettor's Genre Representation wouldn't have enough weight to influence Central Plains to the extent they desired. Moreover, he had already unleashed it thrice in close successions. If he ever attempts it one more time, he would implode. His Concept of Mortality would also be destroyed as a result.

Therefore, the only other choice was Ahjar. Since he had yet to unleash it even once, it was fine.

Journey of a Hero influenced Central Plains and pretty much suppressed every other power system completely. But, it amplified the Mental Energy generation of the natives, especially those regarding a hero, in other terms, the protagonist.

The Lore Sphere mildly tweaked the influence, causing a familiar energy to be born in Central Plains.

"This…" The bear stared in surprise to see the food in its stomach being digested at a rate slightly faster than before as a mysterious substance, semi-liquid and semi-gaseous in nature condense within its body.

The function of this energy seemed related to stamina, as the monster didn't feel tired even while running at full speed, watching this mysterious energy be consumed in response. Even though it lost all its original strength and grew smaller in response to the vanishing of its power, it observed that the new energy seemed to be supporting its growth, revealing a new direction of evolution.

A tiny horn began to grow on its forehead as it hunted and devoured its prey.

Observing the birth of this energy, Ahjar grinned, "A perfect medium for our farm."

The energy was none other than Darlac.
