The best harem novel i ever read. a really in depth of global political structure, if you underestimate the author view cause mc view on the technology was on layman terms you should read author other work "Scholar's Advanced Technological System" this novel side just focus more on enterprise and its efficient manner how to operate a world without those politic holding you back. The feeling of this is just the end of volume 1 was maybe just the habit of author as seen in his/her other novel, and this is more satisfying to leave the novel in an open ending.
Despite the harsh setting, the story maintains a lighter tone, focusing on Jiang Chen's exploration and resource management. A good novel to read. There Some hiccup with in some chapter so skip the paragraphs or skim them.
many would probably run away after seeing the harem tag, but the story is pretty good, politics, economics and war. from a lowly food merchant to the lord of earth. i feel some translation are wrong or the logic is just wrong, but it doesn't really ruin the novel. seems like it have missing epilogue too tho, about what happen to the sub dimension later on
A fantastic novel, it can make you think about philosophical, political, economic, geopolitical, spatial issues, about survival as a species and individual, technologies, innovation, love, romance, war and death. . . a novel WITH EVERYTHING, Super recommended for whoever reads this 9. 5/10.
Here's my Review: MC: 7/10 (smart, clever, and a bit lascivious) PLOT: 8/10 (the ending was a bit rushed, but overall, it was interesting) WORLD-BUILDING: 8/10 (It was fascinating to see our MC build his strength, both in the apocalypse and in the modern world) H-18, harem: 7/10 (I appreciated that there weren't entire chapters dedicated to H-18 scenes, as in other novels. Just stating that "it happened" and moving on with the plot) Rating: 8/10 COMMENT: Here's a hidden gem that, as usual, is better than its manhua counterpart. Read the entire novel in a week, leading to mental exhaustion several times due to the high number of chapters read per day, but it was worth it. If you're a fan of novels like "I Have a Super USB", "Getting a Technology System", etc. . , this novel is for you.
I wish the ending was more detailed and have better story . But I really like the story line and characters, even though I have to Learn more scientific vocabularies , technologies and theories.
A solid four star. It isn't a bad read, the pacing is really good. Very little filler and almost every chapter progresses the story. Leaves some unanswered and open questions at the end, bit otherwise worth the read, especially if it is your main form of entertainment and you read 100+ chapters a day usually and you want to stack.
This novel had many possible endings. With the phase of the story author did a good job ending it there. Otherwise this story might get too long and become a never ending. Satisfying ending with reasonable plot. And our MC didn't get unreasonably overpowered. Story ended leaving much to our imagination. One of my personal best reads.
At first the discovery of the future and the ambitions of the protagonist seemed realistic to me but the more the chapters advance and the more it becomes crazy. But I will say that at some point it does get a little slow. Has some interesting and some over the top political and empire building. Has china is No:1 Stuff, some cheap romance at times and MC is and Cold Like him and you don't. type of novel to turn brain off and enjoy story or concept.
Although I enjoyed this novel, I must say that unfortunately it does not lack flaws. At first the discovery of the future and the ambitions of the protagonist seemed realistic to me but the more the chapters advance and the more it becomes crazy. I understood that the future is greatly inspired by the series of Fallout games but unfortunately the author did not succeed in my opinion in appropriating the universe to add his touch which could have made it something better. Each time the author adds something to the universe that has not been inspired by another work, it seems badly made to be unreal in the work. Finally the end is sloppy and seems to have been written only to end a work that the author no longer wanted to occupy without thinking of the reader.
