Chapter 12: Unexpected Weapon Procurement

「T-that was dangerous……」

The next morning.

Or rather I once again woke up when it was nearly noon.

I looked down on Alicia who was sleeping with a cute soft snoring. Seeing her made my body shivered.

That was because, Alicia with her Gift the Sacred Knight leveled up, she was, terrific.

I had reached a good stopping point (more or less) with my skill inspection and I had also gotten used to this city. Now there were two things that I wanted to prioritize doing in so that I could continue my life of elopement with Alicia.

But this was troubling……even though we had luckily stumbled into this treasure trove of wonderful weapons, we got driven away right from the front gate. The refusal was stronger than expected.

She was saying that she wouldn’t sell weapon to someone who she didn’t like, and yet it looked like she didn’t have any intention to test us at all right from the start…….

Hmm, it was really a pity but, I guess it would be better for us to go to the second or third shop that the receptionist told us.

Seeing the weapon she brought out caused both Alicia and me to widen our eyes in shock.

No matter how cheaply we estimated its price was, that sword should be of similar quality with an excellent sword that worth some months of salary of the average holy knight in the capital.

「No umm, as expected please let us pay the money for the sword! As expected taking something like this for free is just too much for us!」
