With a father as strong as the highest heavens themselves, Gravis wasn't required to step into the cold and ruthless world of cultivation.
But when Heaven used him in a scheme to get back at his father, Gravis realized that he needed strength to gain true freedom.
As long as he remained his weak self, he would always remain beneath Heaven’s oppression. Only true power brings true freedom.
To gain strength, Gravis ventured into the lower worlds to start his cultivation under true life and death tempering.
Only a strong will, which had been forged in striving for every resource available, would allow him to reach the peak.
Heaven’s strongest weapon was Lightning of Divine Punishment, and only if he made this weapon his, would he have a chance.
So, to overthrow Heaven,
Lightning Is the Only Way!
Yet, the path to power is painful.
Not everyone reaches the peak.
But Gravis will!
No matter how much pain he feels along the way!

I finished the sword of the god in the magic world and I feel suffocated from crying a lot with pain and mental fatigue so is this novel dark and depressing like the other one? What about the character of the mc because I am tired from all my mind because of Shang
Excellent novel, but not for me. Just putting this there for those who are like me. The novel is very real. I like a healthy dose of reality with a healthy dose of fantasy as well. The interactions between the characters, the situations drawn up by the author, the dilemmas faced by the MC are all based in reality and very humane. Those who use books as an escape from the real world, probably won't like it. There was no satisfaction for me reading as milestones were reached. I won't specify why to avoid straying into spoiler territory. The ending is very real too and as much as it closed off the book very well, I was left utterly dissatisfied by it. Oh also, if you leave a somewhat neutral or negative comment about literally anything in the book, be prepared to be attacked by fanboys of the novel. I'm sure this will be getting dislikes as well but sue me, I don't care
I stopped reading SGWM at some point because it's making me depressed. I guess I'll start here before I return to that gray world. If you want to learn how to not get attached to characters then read Sword God in the World of Magic recommend 👍
Did reading the SGIWOM before reading this book will spoil and ruin my journey with this novel? (I'm at Ch750 in SGIWOM)
is it dark like SGIWOM and kill the sun?
Wait, this novel is R 34. I'm out of here.
Do characters from KtS, LitOW, and SGiaWoM interact often, and is this story more like a three part seires, or a BTTH, WDQK, and TGR scenario.
Hi I want to ask your guys opinions, I read Kill the Sun and it is undeniably one of the best novel I've read. But the most intriguing aspect of the novel to me is the power system, do you think this novel or SGIAWOM is more interesting in terms of power system?
just one question? romance or not?
As someone who as now finished both LITOW and SGIAWOM I am happy to read them and you should too
