Mc starts as cold, calculating and selfish. Mc end's as hypocritical hero, tool of the government to oppress free mages. Also, mc best spell is plot armor.
Mmm idk if im expecting too much but this is a prettty shallow novel, worse than WMW and the world building is so sparse. I kid you not I just came from reading the Primordial Record and a side character that got like 40 chapters there and resided ina sort of wizard world had more world building, and better power system than the whole 250 chapters I’ve read here. Also since author doesnt care much about world building its very detrimental to the story since its a world hopping story. Also author don’t gaf about names. We get the most random bs names and this translates into the story because he can’t be bothered to invent technical terms for magic so we often just get “magic and stuff” from the author. Names have power i wish authors thought about that too. I’m not even gonna comment about the theories and stuff. Unlike Martial Unity where the author tries his best to explain the theory we just get random theories, literal no explanation. The author just googld electricity theories.
