The world is cool the power systems too but the characters are such trash there all so annoyingly repetitive that it feels like they don't belong in the world they live in.

WARNING: read the Mc as a human with a lot of ram. Becuz his personality dont act like a neural network that can take data, simulate and reach conclusions. I think author lacks info on how ai are trained to extrapolate stuff. Simple fact : he builds something made of many magic runes then heavily reduce its complexity after learning magic incorporares geometry. Basic one at that. If he truly was an ai with the memories of 10b human, he could have simply extrapolated that geometry is used. The reason is because author stated its simple geometry at first, which leads me to believe it should be plain to see. At least for ai that can run simulations. Yet all we get from the mc 'massive computational power' is just author saying he learns stuff super fast. The mc doest see beyond his nose and his personality becomes a generic arrogant young master. So dont expect a true AI but a cold human. Conclusion; its still a great read! Definitely give it a try. Just dont be prejudiced. :)

Haven’t read this yet, was about to, but I feel like you can’t blame the author, it’s hard to understand neural networks and artificial intelligence. The ones that play chess like Stockfish and Mittens are already pretty insane, doing strange fourth dimensional moves that look backwards at first, but is for some insane forced end goals that cage chance itself… Welp ima go read this now anyway, doot doot

Actually, quality improves a lot after the 100th chapter and author delve into high end topics too. You just need to pas the first 100 or so because they are annoying, you can feel the quality improving. I found a side with 500 or so chapter, not human translated but they are easily understandable and the sentences are not messed up. Just search for it on google if ur interested.

It was good, truly good, but then adam started devolving, showing more human-like traits every chapter, now he's a budding young master. First, he was neutral now he looks down on everything, letting emotions cloud his judgment, he gets frustrated and makes mistakes now and hardly utilizes his "Vast" Mind to do much of anything. He ignores useful data and thinks he's smart. For example, he gets a pet, the pet is a hybrid, a mix between devil and abyss monsters, he calls it useless because it forgot how to make contracts, he ignores the fact that it exists means devils and abyss monsters are closely related species, it's able to take literally any shape it likes and eat anything, yet he still called it useless. This is just one example of how far he's fallen and is now just a cliche protagonist that was said to be smart but actually isn't.

Hmmm, so author wanted a truly emotion-neutral character but his representation of not being weak and emotional is to be cold and arrogang? Unless auhtor intended to have him slowly develop emotions as a human but did not translate it to writing in a good way. Lol. Indifference is true neutrality. Neither cold nor warm. Thank you for comment.

Added it to my library for quite a while now. As long as there is no harem/polygamy, I'll continue reading this!

Someone really read Warlock of the Magus World and was like, ' like that but without Leylin, just the AI chip'

Yeah but is there really a difference, I mean leylin was capable but ALOT of stuff was done through the A.I chip

Ppl like giving the AI chip sh*t for some reason. All the planning and execution is done by Leylin, and the chip is just there for support. Never really understood the negative opinions

All the plans leylin had thought up went through the ai chip to understand its feasibility, tho I can also think of it another way, the ai chip was undoubtedly the reason he could advance ranks, using the info leylin learned it simulated just about anything regarding feasibility of something, spells and ways to advance magus ranks, HOWEVER in order to enact these advancements yes leylin did indeed have to plan but that's also with the ai assistance, so in my eyes despite leylin being capable, the ai had a bigger role.

That's fine though. It's like using a calculator so solve a math problem. You give the input, and guide the tool. The tool then does all the hard work. This leaves you with plenty of time to solve more problems (or jack off, idk). My point is, even if the AI chip does all the hard work, and Leylin gets to reap the benefits, it's still fine since Leylin is the one that guides the process. The AI chip never makes any decisions

Yeah I agree, the chip gives a strong helping hand but it is leylin who makes the choices
