I've been chasing the high of reading this novel for literal years. I've finished most major cultivation novels and nothing fills the void this left in me.

Damnn, thank youu for the information 👍🏻. I've stopped reading this btw. I really can't with harem novels 😖. For me, either the romance tag with one romantic interest or no tag at all 😊

This is actually okayish for the most part. Its one of the better ones. Do read this classic , good progression but too many tournaments and fights.

Hm, It's still within the top 100 ranks. First, the innkeeper. Second, greatest legacy of the magus. But...the novels are greaat, to my taste, which is, no romance👍🏻👍🏻 for now ..

Its been so long the last time I read this kind of novel, b*tch slapping arrogant young masters and old fools, and various catchphrase “courting death" and more. Oh and also this long *ss chapters and some repetitions. I'm gonna read this type of novel again😈

One of the earlier novels I compleated but I remember it being a cut above other cultivation novels; its no Sword god or LOTM but its definitely a better read than AGM or Lou Futian. If you have read a ton of cultivation though it might feel like more of the same as only 2-3 arcs in the whole book were not a common trope

Ouch AGM and Legend of Futian are pretty good in my opinion at least If not for the countless arrogance but well it's cultivation what do you expect

Cultivation doesn't require 70% of its runtime as face-slapping give me a Silkworm novel where the fights are long or Sword god/ Lightning where Dao comprehension is the bread and butter. I honestly dont even remember the author of AGMs name but I know its the same guy on Lou and that he has 2/3 more novels and that every single one is 3/5 slop. I can deal with that writing in Qi refining as its a bunch of Frogs and trashcans but in AGM NS and ST cultivators are identical to qi refiners in terms of behavior its just tiring to bother sloging through.

Can't even argue with you bruv you absolutely right It's nice if you're getting introduced/need to stack but as you really start to get into CN it just doesn't hold up compared to the really good ones

I just think the author has to work on his “lategame” the old monsters act like 10 year olds( just write them more mature and lean away from faceslapping and it could be a 4/5. A godly figure who doesnt even consider face and uses underhanded diabolical schemes can be juxtaposed against the rest and have crazy impact as a final antagonist.

Honestly a great idea but most authors are too lazy to do stuff like that which is just sad cause I feel like a lot of em are capable of writing like that but they'll rather write a quick cash grab

I don't think I ever read a worse summary of a novel. Anyway, reading the comments I think it's safe to say it's not a loss to delay it's reading.

If I forget about the nostalgic value of this novel, its rate will be between 3.5 to 4 (neither bad or good, just mediorce). One aspect I think author could have improve is the side character development. After I reread the story, I realized that there are many characters who possess great potential such as Ling Sen and Jiang Baoyun. Both of them had become irrelevant in the story really fast after being defeated. However, author still got a point in the arc when Zhu Yan reappeared, I have to admit that was the best arc in the novel
