Summary

The phoenix is a creature of legends, a wonder of the world, an imagery of life and destruction. This fabled creature signifies the rise of a hero in a virtual world where battles occur for the sake of honor and glory!

Zhang Yang was a professional gamer in the first and most fantastic game that revolutionized the world: God’s Miracle. A game where traditional knowledge in RPGs did not matter anymore, players would have to manually target and evade attacks, giving rise to a significant gap in skill between a professional and an amateur gamer.

Zhang Yang’s downfall came a little too soon. His girlfriend was snatched, his guild was harassed and disbanded, and he was even driven to commit suicide! Jumping off the top floor of a hotel, Zhang Yang seemed as though he was soaring like a phoenix. Little did he know that the end of his life also signified his rise from the ashes!

Overall average. Most MMO novels will be similar to this. I guess the romance/sm*t was okay, but not anything to write home about. The ending imo wasn't too bad. The story itself is very repetitive but that's what makes an MMO an MMO. I particularly liked the competition in this novel in comparison to other novels. a solid 6.5/10, would recommend it if bored and you wanted to beat your meat to words.

Current I am reading renegade immortal. It will take some time to get better ( around 240s ) . But still even the worst part of renegade immortal Is better than other cultivation novels.

        1) dao of blizzard immortal - feels like a child of lotm 2) the way of the devil - mc has system but other than helping him learn martial arts it doesn’t have any other use 3) can a scholar be called a villain - insanely evil mc . Has system but it’s fine cuz mc is evil . 4) my house of horrors - not a power fantasy but still good novel to read at midnight to feel some thrills 5) outside of time ( ergen latest works but it’s hella good )

Not in the mood to read anything like lotm rn, will check the others out, I've picked up outside of time a couple of times but I never read past 10 chapters, but I recently found out the one I've been reading here is MTL translation, so I'm trying to read the official translation rn, it's waaaay better

Overall, good story. A few flaws, though. Most obvious one, MC doesn't one is on himself enough. He actually let's other people get equipment he can use. He really needed to be more selfish imo. Yan Er was extremely annoying an hateable, I really do think the story would have been better of without her. Ending was extremely rushed, but the story was repetitive, so I can't say much to the author deciding to end it early. The game stats are fucked to hell. You want me to believe the MC is killing a mutli hundred billion hp boss, when his weapon has a like 400k atk on it and 3.8 second attack speed? Also, one small thing on the author's math, how does 200k + 200% = 2 million?? I'm so confused, I understand he has a whole bunch of buffs on him, and strength, but it's stated some buffs don't multiply together, so the author's math is just ridiculous.

Main Character can be dense as f*ck and somehow refuses to strengthen his own Guild with OP loot because he wants more money from it?(that he doesn´t even need) and yet his Guild is the strongest because they only recruit skillfull members i call bs woud have liked more of actually doing stuff to make his Guild stronger and not just saying HA SKILLS

This is one of authors who like to write game novel but did a little games in life. He can't relate the players mind. So not cool 👎

He did though??? He both sold the equipment to the public and let his guild mates exchange for it with contribution points.

Yes He sells them to the Public 90% of the time and just lets Guild members use Contribution points when hes with a lot of Guild members. He gets OP Loot knows he can´t use it and decides instead of giving it to trustworthy Guildmembers he just sells it to the Public where hes strenghening his Enemys... he could also just sell it to the all Female Guild because their on good terms. But he sells it to the Public and not just the bad shit but also the REALLY good stuff like WTF?!
