Okay, let’s cover the good, the bad, and why I didn’t give it 5 stars. The leveling systems and different levels of power were pretty well thought out and easy to understand. Most of the characters were fun to read, and Max did develop fairly well as a character throughout the novel. Now, while most of the characters were good, some just came off as whiny and ended up holding very little weight in the story. On top of that, many of the female characters saw their relevance and importance diminish greatly as the novel continued. Finally, there ware a few minor inconsistencies throughout the novel. Honestly, I was tempted to give this novel 5 stars, but in the end, there just moments were it was blatantly clear the novel could have done better and fell short. It underutilized good characters and over utilized mediocre characters. Finally, I just wasn’t a fan of it turning into a Tower novel at the end. I like Tower novels, but it made no sense to do that here.

Was an extremely good read outside of the dehumanization of women after a certain point in the story. It wasn't too bad it just changed them form being themselves to more of an extension of the main character like an item.

the story is a mix of various emotions and feelings although I do regret the death of karna a trusted vetran and the author forget about him at the end. but its all life and people move on

This is a perfectly alright novel. Fun concepts, some good development in the early stages, a fun if predictable ride. My main criticism is toward the end many of the characters become caricatures of themselves: this is especially obvious in the female characters who functionally reach the end of their development and lose all their interesting personality traits as soon as the enter Max’s harem. Overall, a relatively enjoyable way to fill time while waiting for better stories to accumulate chapters.

It is undoubtedly a good work, entertaining and does not become heavy, it is true that it does not have the deepest plot and that like many other cultivation works it sometimes errs on leaving plots abandoned as it progresses but in general highly recommended.

This book was one of the worst I've ever read. The main character lacks agency, with the author seemingly orchestrating events without any believable motivation. Every aspect of the story feels irritating, and none of the characters are enjoyable or relatable. The plot seems to be forcefully propelled forward by the author rather than naturally evolving. Overall, it was a very disappointing and frustrating experience.

A superb novel. A sequel that, whether you want it or not, is much better to read if you've read the first story. Max undergoes a slow and steady character development, in stark contrast to the abrupt developments in some novels where the main character suddenly becomes someone else because they 'developed. ' The progression of the story is good, with some holes here and there but nothing major. I've reached 950+ novels, so I can confidently say that among the hundreds I've read, this easily enters my top thirty best novels.

Okay, im gonna tell you already. I was excited for this novel. I read reviews and had high hopes. It had a unique flair, it had video game settings, multi universal, and vampires. Call me intrigued. But it ends there. I read seriously till the 20th ch. and against my better judgement I skimmed it to the 30’s. The mc is top 5 worst ‘I’ve’ ever read. It doesn’t matter if he becomes the top god ever within 1000 ch. to me at this point. Because the mc lost me within 20ch. 9/10 when the mc is constantly being cucked, honestly… they don’t become much better of a character, and it shows. Mc was given everything. EVERYTHING! For 45 ch till the arc ended and did EVERYTHING POSSIBLE TO F*CK THAT UP! Out of 10 life changing moments he f*ck*d 9/10 of them up… and the ones he didn’t? Someone else was filling in here. PROGRESSION?! Does this novel know what that is? Especially in the stage where you want to like the novel and be interested? A d*mn bone? One even? I Wana talk about regression. He got worse. He doesn’t even attempt to save people he could (who obviously should and not from a moral standpoint but even an evil god would give it a thought. A F*CK*NG THOUGHT). He loves ‘people’? Laughable. Take opportunities that only he has any way to capitalize on? Well if he did. He f*ck*d it up, “oh but he will learn” F*CK*NG WILL HE?!! You want an mc? Look at his brother. Don’t look at the top 5 beta mc’s who can’t even wipe his *ss but if he did he would use his bare hand while it’s on fire. So, my honest opinion? If you’re gonna read then start after the first arc. Not that I would know if it gets better, but can it honestly get worse?

Responding to your comment about the protagonist, he does undergo excellent character progression throughout the story, especially when the academy comes to an end and you get the subsequent arc when his master teaches him how to "live in society" and everything improves in the future. I just finished reading the book today so... trust me, don't bother reading until chapter 100.

I MIGHT try that. I’m debating to start a new novel, or re read one of the several I enjoy just so I won’t be disappointed.

Not gonna write too much but this is a good novel. It has decent length -almost 1k chapters- , nice plot and character development. It’s a good read to get you through work or school.

Personally I’m here for the vampire genre. I’ve read my share of systems, op mc, weak to strong, with near same plots pertaining to their own respective genres. However I find it interesting to incorporate that same element and focus it around a vampire’s point. Similar to how Solo Leveling and its many copies surround a necromancy type theme. This novel follows after a vampire’s perspective. Fair warning though as in the literary aspect, the novel does have its few flaws and inconsistencies but I believe most readers would find it tolerable and enjoy it as a light read.
