Don't know bro. I've read one of the authors other work, which is city of sin. His novels are unique which is something 90% of webnovels lack. I guess some people would rather read my three beautiful wives are vampires than a story where you can't see anything coming like this one.

What about the author's other novel, "Demon Hunter", have you tried it?

No not yet I was busy rereading city of sin and now I'm rereading WOMW. I'll pick it up when I'm done.

Demon Hunter is good, but City of Sin is quite a bit better. Demon Hunter's ending is really not that satisfying.

Hello. just finished Demon hunter, and felt compelled to look for the author's other works. Didn't touched yet City of sin, I am prepared to start with this one. But I wanted to say I disagree with you, although DH ending isn't my favorite, ruthlessly crushing my hopes, it's still a fit ending, in my view. At least, comparing it with other novels stupid( lacking sense or abrupt) endings.

It's been a while I picked up demon hunter but I dropped it while going back to school. The mc is quite similar to Qianye, ready to throw his life away for people he loves, progresses annoyingly slow and a hect ton of secrets in his blood. The story will definitely pull your emotions everywhich way with how compelling and saddening the world and characters are, and in usually misty South fashion they won't explain sh*t to the mc cause they lack communication skills but it's all good. As for my review I'd give it an 8 out of 10. The novel is actually very good don't mind the previous things I've said if there's anything that make me somewhat annoyed its that the mc isn't getting strong in they way I would like but is following a mysterious gene progression path that adds more to his intuition than his physical strength but it does match well with his style of combat. As for a comparison I prefer city of sin Richard is by far the best misty South mc and that's uncontested for me.

I shamefully haven't posted it yet but I'm happy that you were willing to support me from just my comment alone you don't know how much I've come to appreciate this moment. I'm still working on some things and have repeated scraped alot of ideas currently I'm struggling with creating an interesting power system. In the first few volumes the fights are not really magicy it's more bare bones and focuses more on physical attributes rather than elements or magical effects. Of course they are some but they aren't manifested outside the body. I'll give you some time bits to look forward too. 1) they are no humans in the novel they exist only predatory monsters, creatures of the night blessed beast and elementals. 2) the first volume named crucible takes place in an enclosed territory of werewolves, it is one of the most prosperous regions but it's inhabitants are constantly in a state of extreme conflict with the only safe zones being the settlements.
