    I read about 1000 chapters or so long time ago and I actually enjoyed it... however after some time it got boring specially when celestials became a thing.

    This is as mid as mid goes, surprised this is top ten, but its rated 3.7 or 7.4/10 which is fair I guess. Main complaints with this, is the character is unrelatable, overused system trope. I've dropped this novel twice and for the life of me I cant remember where I dropped it the first time. For the second time it was around chapter 100 where the main character blows his cover and was found out to be a vampire. I wouldn't normally drop there but there was like five plot holes surrounding the entire situation and clearly the author wanted to lazily introduce a character and I just wont stand for that level of effort.

    07/05/2024 It was a long journey, I have been reading this book for almost 2 year but alas every good things comes to an end. I hope author's other novels are also as good as this one.

        It is absolutely worth reading, The MC often finds himself in dangerous or lucky situations (there is a reason why). The character building is great. One of the best part of Shadow Slave is the world building (From gods and daemons to floating islands and forgotten places). The system used for abilities is nicely done (It itself is part of the lore).

    D*mn glad to know I didn't make a bad decision dropping this after the timeskip. It's not like I didn't try to hold on even read 200+ chapters after the timeskip but I just knew it should have ended 200 chapters ago.

    05/01/2024 I finished this novel The ending is a little unexpected but great We have so many happy endings in most novels, I like this ending now all I have to do is read another book while waiting for the sequel 7/10
