This novel is the reason why people dont like Japanese mc. The main character is acting like a sain and about the world as joke. The first volume was shit
The second volume was good
The third was iffy
And latest volume is shit.

I don't know why but I feel like the Mc just stopped gaining/copying orbs after the timeskip, the Mc saw a lot of unique skill orbs, but he doesn't copy it for some reason.

the mc being naïve is the only thing i would pint as a fault with this novel and the recent chapters have been a bit draggy. the theme is really good but character can develop more and also the pace at which story moves

An interesting take on a skill based system, the mc is a young naive kid that slowly starts to grasp the world around him. However there's a time skip where the mc goes from mostly useless to better then all his peers. His character starts to turn into a boring overpowered "can do anything" guy and everyone falls for him. Because of course they do. While the begining is a decent but slightly confusing story the end of what is currently out is shallow and 2 dimensional.

So, many people have been complaining about the naive MC. But, I can tell you that the MC changes towards the end of the first volume, and transforms into a cool guy after the time skip in Volume 2. (I have read till here.)

So, give this novel a chance guys. I know - we all hate the beta JP MCs. But this one really managed to impress me with the good characters, smart villains and interesting story. If you love this one, check out the author's other novel "The Undetectable Strongest Job: Rule Breaker". Happy reading.
