my favourite genres are: psychological thriller, mystery my favourite story is a murder mystery you're a d*mb*ss

that's weird u like thrillers and murder mysteries and came to a cultivation novel about a tree... d*mb*ss your opinion is about as useful as a crying child no that's insulting to the child at least they cry cause there hungry or hurt you just cry to get attention your a legit waste of time and ty for helping me figure that out

i said my favourite are those genres, not the only thing i consume some power fantasies can do it well im literally crying about nothing, all i did is question the quality of the story due to the mc not being able to move, and u little stupid brain is hurt because you reaaally like the tree story f*ck*ng *d**t

regardless of it being the point of the story, how's that fun to read? how do you make a good main character like that? or do you just focus on the side characters since the mc's situation is boring?

I could say the same for any novel. Why focus on the main character if they are boring? What makes a main character interesting? That will depend on what you like. This novel is about a tree who can cultivate and has a system. Cultivation allows for super powers and systems allow you to break the rules of the established world. If you like that then you will like the novel. The mc starts without being able to even communicate at all. And as the story goes on he is able to interact more and more with the world. As of the most recent chapters he is capable of waging war with sects. If you call being able to wage war against thousands to tens of thousands of super powered beings not doing anything then I don't know what you consider doing something. You are acting like because the mc is a tree that means the entire novel will be mc sitting in one spot drinking sunlight and nothing else. That's just so wrong.

honestly if he only got to the first bit of chapters i could understand why he thought that was the route the story may take. Yet at the same time in the very first couple of chapters the gacha is introduced.

Yes, the main character can't move but they still find ways to influence things around them. A lot of thing also happen near where he is planted as well. The best comparison I have is if other stories are action rpgs, this is a rts.

I have auto translate on so ill know it was originally a different language but usually I reply in English however if the person doesn't speak good English I'll try switching to their language so i can sound stupid 🙃
