I enjoyed 95% of this book and the parts I did not enjoy where so minimal that it would be no different than any other author. I specifically enjoyed that the hero was not a perfect person. Carrying both light and darkness. WELL DONE!

To those that drop it in the beginning because you think that he's only going to be a shepherd that raises sheep, I implore you to Keep Reading. This story has many ups and downs, sometimes you Laugh so hard you tear up, or you get so angry you scream, and feel the cringe so hard you have to close your eyes and curl into a ball under the blankets saying, "OMG Did I Just Read That!?". No matter how sad, slow, or downright frustrating the story gets, keep with it. It's an adventure through another life, another world, an adventure you'll always be able to come to when your own world just doesn't feel like it holds enough magic anymore.

Mc character is kinda good, world building is good but was wasted. T plot is too force, too much coincidence/fate. I like reading at first but at t end it get boring, I can just read t chapter title n still understand t plot/story line.

I've read dozens of novels that are 1000 chapters, 2000 chapters long, so I'm not someone that lacks the patience and I can push through boring arcs and plot holes. But what I can't do is read about a goddamn incel of an mc. There is a lot to talk about. But I'll only say one thing and you decide if you think this is a good character or not. The mc is slaved and tortured every day alongside his Mother-figure. The torturer is his Master and she says "This is for your training to become a dark mage". The mc's reaction is, "I hate this but this is for my training. My master is also a good person deep down. " Idk about you but I can't put up with an mc who can't even feel angry for his "Mother" getting tortured. . . smh

You never stuck with the story, and honestly, I can't be mad at you. I pity you, for talking to stay with such a story that's much more than dark mage training.

Honestly, I don't really care. I don't like the mc. And your review kinda sucks too. You need to read more novels man. There are novels out there that'll give 10x better immersion without all the cringy parts and etc. If I hadn't read so many good novels, I wouldn't be here whining, trying to dissuade other readers. I know I sound quite rude but I'm serious. If you wanna read some real big d*ck level novels, do tell. I'll gladly recommend you some. Hopefully, you can enjoy them too and truly experience the bliss that comes with reading a genuinely, well-written novel.

Part 2: Trash of Count's Family: (One of the novels in my 'greats' that lets the mc be powerful without having to go through the struggle which every mc faces to get strong. Yet, this allows more focus onto how the mc deals with the actual plot itself and it's very enjoyable to see how he struggles with using his powers and the reactions of the characters beside him. Great characters, great arcs, great villain, great story.) I'm Really Not the Demon God's Lackey: (Entire story revolves on misunderstandings. Yet idk really, it's very relaxing and nice. I can't really describe it. I listened to Voyage - Hyper(Slowed) while reading it and it was just a very tranquil experience. The action, story, characters, and the mc are all very enjoyable. When you get burnout from reading novels, this is a good option to refresh yourself. Personally, I can't say with 100% guarantee that you'll love them as I did. But all of these novels have really great reviews and you can try to trust that. Peace

Part 1: Long yet rewarding novels: Lord of the Mysteries: (Extremely unique yet amazing power system. Absolutely amazing mc. Incredible story, great characters, starts off slow but picks up at an extremely riveting pace after 200 chapters) Reverend Insanity: (Also extremely unique power system. Extremely evil yet so d*mn intelligent and enjoyable mc. Above mediocre in its worst arcs, world-class writing in its best arcs) Just as great yet easier to get immersed in since it's comparatively shorter: The Legendary Mechanic: (Leveling system yet a completely refreshing take on it that can be considered the best. Great mc. Personally I felt that none of the arcs were boring, all of them had great substance and made the novel feel very short considering how immersed I was) Continued in next reply --->

Poor pacing, plot holes, mc and others conveniently forget powers, the world makes 0 sense, etc etc. It's bad. Also the "romance" is asinine and the mc has the morals of a rat. The worst is probably the repeated "because x" every twelve lines. It's rough, in edited, and badly thought out.

The web novel is written with a good update frequency, a well-developed story, interesting characters and a rich world background. It is a fun and entertaining read, with a good-paced story. The main character's naive personality is balanced by his development as a character. Although the plot is simple, the characters are funny and engaging, making it hard not to laugh at their antics. However, this novel is still marred with cringe-worthy dialogues and moments, especially when his mother goat is mentioned. Overall, it an addictive enough to leave a sense of expectation for the next chapter and makes you want to read more.

The story kept me intrigued. In most of the stories about an MC being reincarnated or transmigrated to another world with magic and beasts, the authors have it where modern weapons like assault rifles and handguns come out. But I'm glad this one keeps to the fantasy weapons. The world-building is done nearly perfectly and the characters are done greatly. This story is nearly perfect. And should be a must on any list to read.

Nice story and a lot of hidden plots that you wouldn't understand until later on when you read the second half of the novel Also mc's charecter development is great from naive and kind to caution and friendly and then to a villain who would do anything for the people he loves A very well done harem ( although some of the have less screen time ) Just don't judge this novel by the first 50 chapters and keep going until he arrives at academy and from then everything got better its a 1400+ chapter novel so be patient

Honestly writer has got everything from world building to power systems and plot down. HOWEVER YOU HAVE FAILED IN CHARACTER WRITING. THE STUPID LOVE HATE RELATIONSHIP WITH CELINE WHO F***ING TORTURED HIM. YOU'RE DOWNPLAYING HER ACTS AND NOW SAYING SHE LIKES HIM AND THAT EXCUSE THAT SHE WENT THRU THE SAME IS FLAWED CUZ 2 WRONGS DON'T MAKE A RIGHT. THE STUPID MISTAKES OF THE MC R HONESTLY OVERWHELMINGLY DUMB AND ANNOYING. AND STOP DOWNPLAYING HIS HESITANCY TO KILL CARTER WHEN HE NEARLY DIED BCUZ OF IT.

The idea behind the novel is interesting, but the realisation is honestly just trash. Too many childish and nonsense chapters filled with plot holes. The MC is the dumbest character in the novel. Don’t ever try to give this novel a possibility. Dropped at chapter 200.

It's a shame that yours a terrible reader with a cr*ppy sense of judgment. What you assume to be plot holes are revealed in future chapters to be open ideas to complete. The gaps you think are missing are in future chapters and you fall to realize how much you're missing out on from giving in to early. The great stuff starts to show itself and amber you're own questions around chapter 1400-1500.

My man a story that becomes good at 1400-1500 chapters is not called a good novel. That's called a sh*tty novel with a good arc.
