Amamiya Hiroto is unlucky. His life consisted of misfortune after misfortune, culminating in an unlucky death during an incident on a school boat trip, trying to save a girl he barely knew. After death, he met a god of reincarnation who requested that the hundred or so dead passengers—one of them being the girl he tried in vain to save—be reincarnated into another world.
Yet a series of unfortunate events forced Hiroto to reincarnate with even less luck than before, starting with nothing but a tremendous amount of Mana. His second life, far worse than his first, came to a cruel end.
However, upon meeting the god a second time, he was informed that there would be yet another reincarnation—one that had already been set in motion and could not be stopped. Not wanting Hiroto to live long, the god cursed him before he was reborn in the hopes that he would either die quickly or commit suicide.
Hiroto was reborn once more as a half-Vampire, half-Dark Elf. A Dhampir. Not wanting a fourth life, he is determined to live this third life with the only things remaining from his previous lives—death-attribute magic and his enormous Mana pool.

Weird. More slice of life than anything, and just weird. Not good weird, not bad weird, not out there weird. Like 2 days without sleep stream of consciousness weird. The dialogue, the internal monologue, the MCs interactions, it’s all the same kind of rambling weird. Not that bad once you get used to it, but there’s definitely a need for adjustment. After that the story is ok. Solid 3 out of 5. Just slow moving slice of life, pretty big plot holes and an inconsistent MC.
Why is a baby stronger then me???
One of my fave Isekai novels of all time..I also love how the story goes back and forth between two worlds
Anyone knows if it's complete? No update for almost a year
Why is nobody talking about the Loli Tag?
Actually reading somewhere else since they have better quality, but added to my list because I really like the story. Van is such a cute, insane, and loveable little horror that’s just happy to have people around him regardless of friend or harem member status. His harem is insane due to his death charm traits as well as cultural misunderstandings (mistaking him as a female) as well as political reasons and simply avoiding conflicts. True enemies are not let go lightly and some enemies are converted to allies through death. There’s plenty of humor and slice of life to break the darker undertone and prevent it from being too vengeance focused as there’s plenty of atrocities that are worthy of a vengeance reaction and in most situations the vengeance is fitting yet kind in my opinion. Van mainly just goes with the flow but he never truly forgets his goals or vengeance yet he doesn’t allow it to take over his life either, the balance is admirable.
Do not be mistaken by the tags!! I would argue this novel is just as much slice of life as it is action. This isn't bad because I love the characters and their silly little city, however if you're looking for 'badass MC constantly fights stronger guys over and over' this isnt that
WARNING!!! Chapter 3 is wrong. Pls just read chapter 3 somewhere else or just read the manga for a bit.
One of my favourite Japanese novel , it has some wierd kinks but its worth it
I remember this being pretty good but it was almost 2 years ago... I'm afraid I might find this novel boring or bad...
