Great story with a good ending. It reminds me that life is not always bitterness and hardships. That there can also be a "happily ever after".

I like the story very much. It has a great pace to me. Very interesting interpersonal relations. I like how the main character is and I really love her children. Her reactions to some things line up with my own so I friend her actions and reactions relatable. She will guide you to an extent and will let you fly when you want. I am up to date (chap 327) and the romance is budding.

This commenter has something to say: if you plan to use author's advice on how to deal with naughty children, I'm calling child services on you.
Regarding the heroine's parenting techniques—0/10, would not recommend for anyone who suffered from CA. I cant say that she's a monster, but she's still abusing her son left and right. Yes, he's an incredibly spoiled and capricious child, but, like, he's also three??
I get that the MC in the very stressful situation in the beginning, but I really hope she'll change her approach going forward...

I don't think it is abuse because how he was raised by his grandparents was that they would fuss over him when he did that. I think that it was a good move for her to do that to let him know that he was not getting his way. He was not listening to her when she spoke to him so it worked. Based on how you are reacting, everything that parents in my country and surrounding countries would be abuse because let me tell you his behind would be grass.

I've already had the same conversation with another person in the comments (you can check it, because I don't want to repeat myself too much), and I still stand by my words: just because something is so widespread it's considered normal, doesn't mean that it isn't bad.

She did change her approach..and idk what's up with your child abuse comment..that's pretty misleading... She just didn't pay him the attention he wanted whenever he threw a fit. If that's what abuse is then your parents must have spoiled you very much lol.

The fact that something is commonplace and normalized doesn't mean it's not abuse. If you identify 'abuse' only as berating someone and beating them up… boy, do I have news for you (:

How would you deal with a spoiled child then? Start explaining the ways of the world to him slowly, and hope that they listen to you? 👀

Yeah, because leaving and ignoring them like that can result in unhealthy attachment issues, where they would be desperate to please people around them and be good to the point of harming themselves in process, because they would be convinced that everyone will only stay with them until they're 'convenient' ^^ But go off about how it's not an abuse, I guess.

(Read till Ch 259) This story was really well written. I really loved seeing the progress of FL. Plus her upward journey was as realistic as it could get. Can't wait for more updates :)
