Summary

He was an addict, a loser, a despicable human being.

But, one fleeting dream that may not be a dream at all reawakens his once-lost senses.

Possessing a very unique ability, he will use that, and the dream, to forge his path in the world now known as the Lost Paradise.

==============================

“The son of god Gula has returned.”

I was lost in the world of gambling.

I turned my back on my family and even betrayed my lover.

I wasted every day of my life.

It was a life of trash.

The reality told me thus:

That I would amount to nothing no matter what I did.

In order to change my pathetic life, I chose fantasy, instead.

Even then, it was the same story.

I wondered if salvation would come at the end of the long road.

But, I was forced to kneel down in defeat in front of a powerful entity.

The tower I built up with my own hands crumbled into nothingness.

Just for once, I dearly wished to know the truth about myself.

– Come closer, my child…

I will not hold back this time.

Finished reading this novel about a year ago. If your on the fence about reading it I would definitely give it a try. It's a really good novel and has some really great fighting scenes but also some really sad moments. It's one of those novels you wish you could read it all over again! If your coming from the Manhwa and you liked it definitely read it. So much is skipped in the Manhwa.

Guys Why people say it has a loose and force harem ?? I know he has 8 wives in the end so what are they like? I mean do they know each other? Live together?...

He only has one love interest throughout the book, while being clearly told that there are others who like him. Then in the side story, he gets drunk and gets most of the females pregnant, so they join his harem. it's forced but not bad. he genuinely didn't want a harem, but takes care of them.

He always flirted with all of them throughout the story so it was obvious that all the girls would fall in love with him. I don't know why people are calling it forced harem.

People call it forced because while the other girls did like him, he only had eyes for one. The whole main story was built around that one person and then the side stories just force the harem into being canon.

He flirted with all of them throughout the story. It is never told in the story that he only loved one person. Yeah maybe he showed a little more affection towards one girl. But if he had eyes for only one girl then he would've never flirted with the other girls.

He flirted with several of the, namely the first 3 members, however, the first had the most development and anything more than flirting was shoot down by him.

The Manhwa is not complete. Finish reading the Manhwa till where it is complete then read the novel from chapter 1. It will help visualize the characters. Plus they skip a bit of the conversations in Manhwa. Really great plot and character Development with Life Lessosn as well. A RARE MASTERPIECE. MY NUMBER 1 FAV. YOU CAN FEEL AN EMOTIONAL CONNECTION WITH THIS ONE

The Manhwa skips out a lot on important Conversations. They are the essence of this Novel. Quick and Precise talks. No lengthy extra unnecessary info. Plus Plots got a lot to do with emotions and his relations with others as well as his character development over time. A lot to learn in life as well from this. THE NOVEL I'M MOST EMOTIONALLY CONNECTED TO. MY FAV CHARACTER ~ SEOL JIHU!!!! :)

Read it from the starting the manhwa has cut many important information. Also it won't be boring... actually I'm sure you'll like it better than manhwa.
