        I've forgotten which chapter but yes, and no it's not actually a curse but more of a blessing in disguise. It seems like a curse jn the beginning cuz he didn't know how to control nor understood the 'curse'. So yeah he learnt to control and use the power of the Red stone through it. I highly recommend you to continue reading it!!!
