Great book but unfortunately it is a dropped book. If you want to take inspiration for an intelligent character he is a good one to copy though.

The author introduces the MC as a hyper-competent genius in the first chapter with some accomplishments being: assembling an AK-47 as a child (even if they could, where would a kid find parts for an AK-47, especially in China?), contemplating the universe in his diapers, and scoring top marks while focused on conducting dangerous chemistry experiments. Just from chapter 1, you may roll your eyes at how unrealistically talented the author is making him but if you can stomach this justification, the novel is actually quite good. The author has a reason for presenting all this at the start, as if the MC wasn't as smart as he was, he'd die right away, especially when facing the twisted situations he encounters. Similar to Sherlock Holmes, what the MC lacks in manners and social skills, he more than makes up for in deductive (and crazy) reasoning. It's fun reading about how he trolls his allies and enemies alike, keeping his cool in danger as he puzzles things out. The author also makes sure to explain how he gets out of every situation instead of handwaving things and chucking them up to the MC's talents. Reincarnating into the body of a playboy, the MC discovers that this new world actually holds secret depths as he becomes a "player" that faces down supernatural situations that have started secretly affecting the world. I'm just hoping that some of the side characters can also show moments of brilliance, as it's unrealistic for the MC to be the only who is smart. If even half of the players faced similar situations to him, they should all be dead, so there needs to be some kind of justification on why ordinary people who become players can survive without being super geniuses. So far, I've enjoyed everything the author's put out, and I'm looking forward to when he starts interacting more with organizations that have been created to combat these supernatural threats instead of just one off characters.

Same thing here Although the story is good and better than most of what is currently published, it has its drawbacks, the most important of which is that the offender characters make you feel as if they are just burdens only, even though they really have their characters, and this is rare in novels, but the problem is that all the lights go to MC, and he is the one who does all the achievements, as for the characters, as I said, months ago, they are just weights Does this continue in subsequent chapters

At first glance, this comedy/horror novel may not seem like much, but give it a chance, and you'll find that it gradually improves as the story unfolds. While it starts off as a rough read, the later chapters offer a more enjoyable experience, providing a good mix of supernatural events and comedic moments. The protagonist of the story is remarkably intelligent, which adds a positive aspect to the narrative. Their logical thinking in a world teeming with supernatural threats makes for an intriguing dynamic. The various encounters with supernatural beings are well-written and present genuine situations that require quick thinking and wit to overcome. The author succeeds in crafting interesting scenarios that keep readers engaged. However, the initial lack of world-building may contribute to the initial feeling of disarray. It seems that the author struggles to establish the rules of the world effectively, leaving readers initially confused. Nonetheless, as the story progresses, this issue becomes less prevalent, and readers can immerse themselves more easily in the narrative. Regarding the transmigration aspect, it doesn't have a significant impact on the story thus far, but this doesn't detract from the overall enjoyment. The novel leans more towards comedy than serious horror, and it handles the balance quite well. It's worth noting that the harem tag mentioned by some readers is not heavily explored, as the main character appears disinterested in romantic relationships. For those looking for a quick judgment, this novel falls into the "ordinary" category. However, if you're willing to delve deeper, you'll discover a story that improves over time, offering interesting supernatural elements, comedy, and a logical-thinking protagonist. On the downside, the novel does have its flaws. The first ten chapters, filled with extensive inner monologues, may deter some readers seeking faster-paced progression. Additionally, the plot can feel shallow at times, with repetitive elements and forced quests that lack originality. The author tries to maintain an air of mystery, but it falls short in execution. In summary, while this comedy/horror novel may not be a masterpiece, it still manages to entertain. With improvements as the story progresses, intriguing supernatural encounters, and a witty protagonist, it deserves a chance. Just be prepared for some initial roughness and a few narrative shortcomings.

At the start the novel feels really rough. It gives of a feeling of a disintegrated mess. It may be due to the authors lack of experience establishing the rules of the world. Later it became a rather enjoyable read. Not a 5 star material for sure, but something that one can enjoy. In my oppinion it's around 4 stars, maybe a little bit less.

Shocked by how good this was, Its a good horror/comedy novel. The main character is a perfectly logical thinker (no fear) in a world which revolves around fighting supernatural threats. The different supernatural encounters are all interesting and well written, presenting genuine situations that require high levels of intelligence to escape (I would die). The transmigrations aspect doesn't have any strong bearing on the story (so far) but that's no problem for me at least. Regardless I think you should give it a try if your interested, and remember that this isn't serious horror as much as it is comedy. Addressing the harem tag, as far as I have read the MC is completely disinterested in women, so nothing has happened. For anyone interested in reading past Chapter 91 the MTL is under the name "Shuraba Player" and its pretty good (1, 300 chapters).

Guys back with the review. . . Review:- for those who wanna quick judge the novel :- this novel is " ordinary" Now for those who want full length explanation:- Well first 10 chapters are nothing but inner monologue of mc and no progress is yet to be seen . . . . Later chapters there are monsters and so called " players" . So the main concept is sorta earth became a game thingy . He even harms a monster even though the he is a mortal ( author many times mentioned normal people can't hurt monsters) . . . Then are mandatory quests which i feel kinda forced since author can't really think of something interesting . . . Final judgement:- 1)Useless transmigration/reincarnation 2) shallow plot where author tries to keep mysterious vide but fails miserably 3)too much inner monologue in a bad way 4) just using same idea over and over again with some new messed up elements 5) also harem i think is kinda forceful and confusing *No hate to harem lovers *
