Western VRMMO【DEMONDAL】was known for its extremely harsh game system. To begin with, there were no levels. There were no skills. There were no guilds. There was no inventory. There were no convenient system messages or maps of any kind either. It was so needlessly realistic that it was already basically a VR life simulator.

As for anything game-like, it was basically limited to weapon masteries; a proficiency level that you got from using your weapon, as well as physical strength that increased as well. That was it.

It was a fantasy game so there was magic, but forming a contract with a spirit was extremely difficult, and only 1% of the playerbase were magicians.

In this VR game【DEMONDAL】that was ridiculously close to reality, the protagonist Kei who was a well known mounted archery expert, was one day sent to another world with his Russian【DEMONDAL】friend.

The game that was severe to begin with had turned into a reality, and the harshness increased again――

A very interesting novel, too bad it barely gets any chapters...

The tags on this story are heavily misleading. The “beautiful female lead” is a male character who is the mc’s friend and gets genderbent within the first four chapters when they transmigrate. This change is very abrupt and roughly executed. The character is depicted as originally being a boy and being very surprised and confused by the gender change by the end of the fourth chapter, even exclaiming in horror at the absence of their junk. Then, there is a weird gap between this and the beginning of the fifth chapter as this character has suddenly accepted their situation to the point where they have suddenly given themselves a new female version of their name and start acting super feminine, like they’ve gone through a complete identity change. This really made me question the depth of their sense of self and made them seem like a very shallow character. This development caught me very off guard and I’m thinking of dropping this already. Fix your tags.

Kinda late to say this but the the mc's friend was always a girl she just pretended to be a guy in the game

Really enjoying the series but for some reason in chapter 22 it suddenly starts having the original japanese text alongside the translation?

Review first 11 chapters: The chapters are VERY LONG with multiple pages of one scene and is probably why they are broken up. Anyways in terms of plot everything isn’t too overblown and most of the stuff is logical… in any case the very long detailed scenes are honestly pretty boring though I wish the author would just cut out some stuff we don’t need to know everything (Literally first 10 chaps were 100k words) The plot is very slow so I would just wait for more chapters I probably won’t continue to read this because it isn’t my cup of tea especially because the diction doesn’t add up to the long amount of words leading to some very boring rhetoric and sentence structure. Which doesn’t help but anyways if you want to read suggest reading first 10 chaps before deciding maybe 20.
