Yama Rising

While it heavily relies on Chinese folklore and is quite hard to understand, the story is still enjoyable. However, it quickly became a Chinese propaganda novel until the end.

This is novel is heavily Chinese. A lot of Chinese references and words. So if you don’t have a significant understanding or interest in Chinese culture, it will be a tough story to understand. The writing pacing is very slow and precise. It had an excellent horror element in the beginning, but the main character is just way too dull and acts like an older man in a young man's body; it would be cool if the author dove into the mental health of a man that is immoral and how their mindset would be, but it doesn't and just acts like an older man some time. I would think this store would be fantastic in Eastern culture, but for a guy that grew up in western culture would find it’s very difficult to understand and to keep interested in the story . I recommend the story if you have some knowledge of Chinese culture and knowledge of hell culture in Chinese literature; as the story's profile is pretty misleading, I give the story a 3 out of 5.

the story is nice specially in the early chapter I like that i feel chill while reading it hmm So ill give this novel a 5star idk if ill change it in the later chapter but i hope not also thanks for making this novel and hope for more good review
