Summary

Lewis Griffith loved magic ever since he was little, dreaming of the day when he would awaken and become a great 'Mage'.

However, this dream is shattered upon the discovery that he was inept, unable to form a mana core, and ever utilize magic.

Still, due to his outstanding dedication to the art, he studied magic and developed countless theories and schools. His unique concept revolutionized magic in the world, making him one of the most renowned scholars in history.

Surprisingly, he reincarnates after several centuries have passed since his death, once again thrust into the world of magic.

Will his second time be different? Or will he be the same Magic theorist he was in the past? The tale of Jared Leonard, formerly known as the Great Sage of Magic, is just beginning.

D*mn, I remember this novel was a 4. Something or at least a 3.9. It had some amazing potential. It just got so overwhelming out of control. Like the character relationships can be amazing but some are just really shallow. Then the reveal of the rebirth thing was underwhelming to some characters

Tbh don’t read any of the comments before reading, read it for yourself first if I had read any of the comments before reading then I most likely wouldn’t of read it, but so far I’ve been enjoying it so far I’m around chapter 110 and I don’t really see why there’s so much hate on it, it’s not the best thing that’s been written, but there’s a lot worse. It’s generic but imo there’s nothing wrong with that I love generic stories tbh

It starts to get bad around 200 and slowly snowballs into a shitstorm. Like when things go to OPness. And the reactions and behaviors are too... unrealistic. It's gets too cringe at some point.

Step aside “Lewis Griffith”, for the person that you copied… Lois Griffin!

Maybe I'm blind, but am I the only one who thinks that the main character's appearance hasn't been described? hair, body structure, height and eye color were only described as "gold".

I remember reading this a year or so ago. Yeah, nothing is ever really described as far as appearances are concerned.

Okay after reading 200 chapters, the story is good. If I edited, proofread and made executive decisions on this novel it could easily become a 5 star classic. Unfortunately it’s atmost a 3.4 right now.

Wow the author loves playing with suspense but everything seems so petty. From using ellipsis to dragging out things multiple times. Again and again and again. To dragging out victories. But he LOVESSS lying in the narration. This is literally the worst thing in the book and there are a lot of bad things. Breaks immersion, breaks reader trust, and just breaks a lot of things. Author also must have an eye bulging kink he used to be a sage in his past life now every single spell or action makes his eyes bulge. The author loves bulges -_- Great Sage Scholar Eye bulge count per chapter : 2-3 Stutter count per chapter :1-2

Complete trash. As an attempt to slow the MC progress author gives him the “worst” talent ever. But thats not my problem. My real problem comes from the fact that he was the best of the best in regards to spell formulas and all that from his previous life’s dedication to being a magic scholar. So why the f*ck is there an academy arc? For somebody so knowledgeable sh*t actually makes no sense. If he really wanted to have the academy’s knowledge then why not get so powerful that he can clone all the books in the library. Or get so strong he can just read the minds of all the professors and take their knowledge and insights?

Are you stupid why would he even need that knowledge if he’s that strong

You are as stupid as he is, why would he need this knowledge if he had already studied all of this in his previous life?

Do you not understand the reason he is even going to the academy??? The reason he is going to the academy is to learn the knowledge that has been developed after his death. Just because he researched it In his first life doesn’t mean that he already knows everything.
